Lake Winnisquam in the Lakes Region of NH has always been a great alternative to Lake Winnipesaukee for buyers looking for to own a home on the water that is little more affordable. Winnisquam is the third largest lake in New Hampshire at 4,264 acres and offers home owners and vacationers a little more laid back kind of lake experience. The lake is large enough to keep you and the kids entertained yet small enough to keep the big speed boats away, so things are much more quiet and peaceful here.  You’ll see lots of pontoon boats, people fishing, and lots of people hanging out at the sandbar by the Winnisquam Bridge. It is just one great lake!

Sales were down in December which is to be somewhat expected as we head into the slower winter months. We expect to see the serious waterfront buyers returning after the holidays to check out the inventory of homes on the big lake so that they can be into their new home by the time spring rolls around.
